Dear Student,

If you are a graduate in any discipline with 50% marks and wish to establish your self as tourism professional, you are welcome to spend two years with us in this beautiful mountain resort Shimla where Institute of Vocational Studies is situated. For this you need to buy a "handbook of information" which along with various important information carries a admission form must be filled by you and submitted at our office during month March/April. Once we receive your application form and previous certificates showing your date of birth and qualification; we will call you for three level admission test:

Written examination
Group discussion
Final interview

Guidelines for the MTA Students/Applicants:

  1.All the students may download the application form and may send it to the Director, Institute of Vocational Studies, MTA, H.P. University, Shimla-171005 along with prospectus fees of rupees 200 in the shape of demand draft in favour of finance officer, H.P. University, Shimla and Rupees 300 (Rs. 25 in case of S.C/S.T) as application fee and Rs. 100 in addition in case of NON-SUBSIDIZED category in favor of Director, IVS, MTA HP University, along with two self addressed envelopes containing stamps of worth Rs. 30 and Rs. 6.
2. Cost of prospectus 200 at counter and 250 by post.
3. NON-SUBSIDIZED Fees-Rs. 50,000 per annum in addition to university fees and other charges.
